Day 1 | September 19-21, 2023 | All Things Insights’ special three-day virtual Gathering, the Road to TMRE, took place September 19-21, 2023. It offered a deep range of measurement and metrics-oriented sessions that are geared towards insights professionals and the skills they are looking to develop and enhance.

Beyond Media Measurement, which was held on September 19, explored Attention Metrics with Michael Nevski, Director Global Insights, Visa; Programmatic Progression with Jennifer Garcia, SVP, Strategy & Insights, Publicis Media; Measurement Frameworks with Kerry Bianchi, Global CEO, APEX Exchange, and Jonathan Stringfield, Vice President, Global Business Research & Marketing, Activision Blizzard; Building Trust in the Media Ecosystem, with Gagan Verma, Partner, DCM Capital/Jadewood Capital; Yida Gao, Adjunct Professor, MIT, General Partner, Shima Capital; and Alan Chiu, Co-Founder & CEO, Enya Labs, Boba Network; and an Attribution panel with Doug Healy, Senior Director, Consumer Insights, Gatorade, PepsiCo, and Sunny Zhu, ESG Data Analytics & Operations, Indeed.

DIY Insights, held on September 20, featured panels that examine creating source intelligence through in-house methods, such as When Less Is More with Anu Sundaram, Vice President, Business Analytics, Rue Gilt Groupe; and In Housing: Benefiting the Organization Through New Tacit Knowledge with Sundaram and Jill Marchick, Vice President, Consumer Insights & Business Analytics at Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill.

Behavioral Insights, held on September 21, explored the human side of the insights equation. How can we better serve the humans that comprise our teams and the humans that benefit from all of that work we’ve been doing all year? We dedicated this session to answering those questions as we look at talent from all the angles, and as we “Dive Into The Collective Behavioral Sciences.” Sessions included The Big Five and Personality Traits vs Insights Talent: Managing With A Greater Understanding Of Temperament, with Edgar Amador, PhD., and Jennifer Avery, Senior Vice President, Strategy and Insights, NBC Universal Parks & Resorts; Activating Your Goldmine of Behavioral Insights: Strategies to Achieve Data and Business Synergy, with Polly Speros, Chief Customer Officer, and Kevin Row, VP of Research & Insights, Fuel Cycle; and Activating Behavioral Insights: Team & Consumer Themes, with Avery and Cherie Leonard, Director of NA Insights, Colgate-Palmolive.
